The Stone House is located two blocks east of downtown Dubois on Highways 26 and 287. Dubois is nestled in the Wind River Valley between the Absaroka and Wind River Mountains with the Wind River running through town. The Stone House accepts guests from May through October.
The sitting room offers a panoramic mountain view of Whiskey Mountain, where elk, deer and Big Horn sheep can often be seen grazing on Whiskey Mountain. A spotting scope and binoculars are available for viewing the wildlife.
