Dear Harry (and Pat too)!

Harry, we feel terrible that we are just now getting through all our e-mail since our AWESOME, UNFORGETTABLE tour for three days with you! Your tours were also just the PERFECT beginning to a great cruise afterward...WOW...we can't believe all that we got to see and do with you!!...and the cruise definitely had a lot to live up to after our fun time with you in London and the surrounding areas...visiting all the fascinating, exciting places you took us to see! Our friends can't believe all the places we visited in just three days! The wonderful weather we had in London continued to follow us all the way home with smooth transatlantic sailing across the waters back to Florida. The captain said those were the smoothest waters he had ever sailed out of England...We feel so BLESSED!!!! Also, wow, was our weather just perfect in London and the surrounding areas??!! You and Pat must have "ordered it up special" just for us...it was amazing!! The places you showed us, we'll never forget....and we can't wait until we have time to slow down and take our time going through all our photos, thinking about all our precious memories, after we survive the Christmas rush!! We have been home a couple of weeks now; and every day, we think, oh my gosh, we haven't gotten a note out to Harry and Pat yet!! As soon as we returned, we were overwhelmed all that we were facing with having been gone almost a month!

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for the WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL three days with you!!! We will be writing VERY POSITIVE FEEDBACK on your website...and on the cruise sites!! All through the days at sea on the cruise, we were singing your praises!....and we were telling everyone how great you are!!! What a "national treasure" you are for England!!...but we weren't surprised at all since we had read all the wonderful reviews about you beforehand! We were also telling all our newly-made British friends on the cruise back how they need to consider one of your Christmas tours with you!!! We still haven't gone through all our photos, but we will be sending you all photos!!

How was Pat's doctor's appointment? We have been praying for great health reports! Please give Pat our love, and you both be sure to give each other great big hugs for us! We just wanted to say HI and that we haven't forgotten you!! It has been such a whirlwind since we returned....we have STILL got unpacked luggage....is that sad or what??!! My mom has not been in good health since we returned...so with Christmas and catching up on everything, we are SOOOOO behind. Please know that we were SO VERY HAPPY with our tours....we had such fun with you!!!! It was sad leaving you...we felt like we were leaving family behind when we left you at the ship dock.

Please be assured that we will be in touch with you again soon. We hope you all are having beautiful and blessed Christmas holidays and a prosperous and healthy New Year! God bless you and Pat always...We hope you will always consider us lifelong friends who think you both are pretty special!!! Please stay in touch; and remember, if and when you come to Tennessee, you'd better plan to call us!!

Much love, affection and thanks,
Tori & Joe Nance

Harry,

Thank you for a wonderful day spent vIsiting the English countryside. We were amazed at your ability to capture the wide interests of our group (two teenage children and two middle age adults). You definitely made this an interesting, if not unforgettable day, for my family. It has been three months since we have returned home, and my children continue to talk about "do you remember when Harry showed us...". You really impressed them with your historical knowledge and pleasant surprise stops along the way. Unlike any of the other tours that we took in Europe, you definitely added the personal touch that we will never forget. I hope to book another tour with you soon. We highly recommend your services to any family that is visiting London and its surroundings.

Bill Gaussa Global Product Manager, Home Ventilation, Sleep and Home Respiratory Group, Respironics

Dear Harry!

I did not think you could do any better than when we saw you in 2003.

Well I was wrong. You were fantastic from where we went to your surprises-like the Deer Park.

Sarah and I are lucky to have been with you twice and for Mike, Sandy, Ron and Cindy it a pure joy for them to see London and the countryside with you.

My best to you and I truly hope we get to meet again.

As always

Dear Harry!

I've been meaning to write to you for last couple of weeks and thank you for the wonderful tour we had with you. It truly was a highlight of our trip even though we spent only 7 hours in London. I'm sure not going to sound original but I surprised myself by falling in love with The City so fast and it's all your fault! We gawked, gasped, giggled, laughed and wandered! Now we have to come back for more and we would love to be guided by you again!

My friends send their hello's and thanks (for warm jackets too!). We will be happy to see you someday in New York!

Hello Harry,

I wanted to thank you for the wonderful day that we had touring with you to Windsor, Eton, and Hampton Court. It was definitely one of our favorite days. You are so knowledgeable and we enjoyed spending the day with you. I have attached some pictures; including the one you requested with Alyssa, Jeff and Ashley asleep in the back. We had a few tours in Paris and everyone kept saying how much better our tour was with you. John and Connor felt like they had really missed out, but they enjoyed there trip to Scotland. I am recommending you to everyone traveling to London and let our travel agent know that you are a really terrific. Thank you again for such a memorable tour

My dear friend Harry,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am finally settled back in at home and still floating from the incredible holiday I had in London and the surrounding area. You, my dear man are totally responsible for it being such a fabulous experience. I cannot thank you enough Harry.

Thank you for all the effort you put forth for myself and Mitch and Michael. They told me you were amazing and they weren’t kidding. Your suggestions and planning were fastidious and so in tune with our interests.

I think I am going to write the Queen and suggest she make you officially a National Treasure (for indeed, you already are!) Meeting you and experiencing your vast knowledge of England and history was a very special experience, Harry. ..one that I truly cherish. I haven’t stopped talking about you to all my “kith and kin” here at home.

The only complaint I have is that the days went too fast! Harry, many thanks for your kind and graceful manner. I have already recommended you to some dear friends and look forward to the next time I get to spend time in your wonderful country and with you at the wheel.

Stay well my dear friend until we see one another again. I send my warmest regards and appreciation your way.

Sincerely, Abby Drue, Executive Director - The Ben Marion Institute for Social Justice Inc

I want to let you know we have arrived home safely.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks for the tours you arranged for us and our traveling companion, Abby Drue.

Since we met you in September, 2003, Mitchell and I have taken many tours with you, those that you offer and those that you have created to fit our request! Each time we have been impressed with your service and attitude. You are certainly everything that you advertise on your web site and more!

Your slogan "Where clients arrive as strangers and leave as friends!" has proven to be true. You always treat us like ‘chosen family’.

When we made the decision to “make the crossing” on the Queen Mary II in late May, 2007 with Abby, there was no decision as to whom we wanted to meet us when she docked and finish our vacation.

As always, Pat, in her efficient manner made all things happen. The entire week from Monday morning through Thursday noon was as if we were visiting an old friend with the English Countryside as a backdrop.

If you ever need references for perspective clients, please do not hesitate to provide our names!

And, as always, we look forward to seeing you again, soon. -- Michael Edwards & Mitchell Smith

Hello Harry,

Many thanks for the receipt you sent me. I hit the ground running upon my return to the States and so this is my first opportunity to let you know how much I enjoyed my tour. As a solo traveller to London with limited time to sight-see, I really appreciated how you were able to give me such a wonderful overview of the city and touch upon some things that interested me specifically (and yes, the cheese, or what was left of it, made it through customs...just wished I'd have purchased more!). The tour allowed me to then go back to some area of interests for a closer look, and much to my complete delight, I actually did retain a lot of the information you shared so abundantly with me! You are so very kind- a fine example of how truly friendly London is. It was my pleasure to be in your fine company for a day. Thanks for a wonderful tour!

Hello,

This is long past due...I took a tour of London with you Harry in July of Last Year ...was the two of us Mara Lynn Majors USA and a friend Joe, who was from England. The tour was absolutely one of the best things I decided to do during my month long stay in England. I stayed In Whitby and we came to London for your Tour ...The tour was Fabulous !!!!! You were so knowledgeable about all you showed us from The Changing of the Guard, to even finding the perfect little place for a nice lunch. All the pictures Joe made for me are a treasure. I just wish I had recorded all that you said as I look back now at the pictures I cannot remember all the buildings and history you told about them...Have you ever considered a DVD of your tour for us to purchase?? I would be the first one in line to buy it .... :)) if you ever make one please let me know...Your gracious manner, your sense of of London and how it is a must to see London through the eyes of Harry with Harry's Tours... and his wonderful wife Pat to plan the tour for you ..I am thinking back now I cannot think of anything I ever enjoyed more, Pat's great planning and suggestions for the tour to the wonderful day spent with you Harry !!!! a Big THANK YOU to you both for making my tour so memorable... I really left a lil piece of heart in London !!!!!!! ......Mara

Dear Harry:

Wwe just want to thank you for the wonderful tour of London.

Due to bad weather we missed our connecting flight into London and embarkation but thanks to your organisation we had someone waiting at Gatwick to take us onto Cornwall and catch up with our ship which had already sailed by the time we finally landed.

I don't know what we would have done without you, we knew no one there and had no idea how to get across England. You went above and beyond to get us where we needed to be and you were there when we docked 2 weeks later. Our original 2 day tour of London was reduced to 1 day but you showed us everything you could in that short time. We saw things we never could have found alone - The Old Curiouisity Shoppe as an example.

Thanks for everything and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to anyone wanting to see London and have the best guide in England.

All the best, Marykay

Dear Harry:

How are you (and Pat)? We hope this year is good for you and your family, here's to health, happiness and prosperity.

We're home and almost settled in. It has been only a week since we were across the Atlantic and it feels like ages ago that we were touring your city and homeland.

Harry, you are a fantastic person and tour guide. We had a good time and enjoyed your easy banter in between all your knowledgeable tidbits. Thank you for such a good time.

Thanks for being so flexible, easy going, personalizing our tours and time together. Our experiences will be unforgettable. There is nothing like a little history to put one's life into perspective! Places like the Dickens cottage or visiting the "clinker" (even in the rain) were a special part of our visit. We enjoyed our Pub lunches together and just chatting. So, thank you Harry......for you and your tours.

I am sure you hear this from everyone, but if you are ever back in the states, in the midwest, we are about an hour outside of St. Louis. Come visit us. We are in Washington, a small historic town and we live in a historic building (built in 1870)----well, historic by our standards. :) We could have a nice visit but I have to warn you, we aren't as good of a tour guide(s) as you are.

We will let you know when Megan has her baby. We will contact you when we can come back! Hope your toe is all better. Take care and Hello to Pat.

All our best --- Judy, Carl and Megan

Harry,

Just a little note to say a big thank you for a fantastic tour of london on Sunday. Even though we had just the one day we feel we have seen so much and really feel like we know a London that people never get to see. This service although fantastic for visitors and tourists from abroad is also suited to those nearer to home and the only way for everyone to do such a tour of london. We had just flown from Ireland for the weekend and wanted to experience it all in one day and that is what we did, No stress, no parking, no busses, tubes, just arrive at the site take some photos, listen to Harry with all his wonderful history tales and special little places that he takes you to. I bet many who live in London have never visited the oldest house there but that was just such a treat Harry had in store for us. His attention to detail, gentlemanly manner and warm personality really makes this tour and its tour guide feel like your uncle who lives in London taking you round for the day!! So if you are going to london dont hesitate to book a tour with this professional, warm and friendly gentleman! Thank you Harry! We were 2 adults and 4 teenagers and yes the teenagers had a great time too. We even managed a few hours at the science museum for a gaming exhibition and on the way back to our hotel Harry drove through Windsor for us to have a look. It was amazing at sunset .

Many thanks -- Evelyn

Hi Harry & Pat,

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our tours with you. When Harry picked us up at the airport on Sept. 4 we were exhausted with the all night flight then the 1 1/2 hours getting through customs. The sight of Harry with the sign with our name on it perked us right up. The bottle of cold water he had for us was wonderful. What a thoughtful gesture. We were kind of sluggish that day but tried our best to keep alert. Harry kept us going a a moderate pace to help us get adjusted to the time difference. He did a wonderful job and we loved Hampton Court. Now that we look back over all the photos we have it really is gorgeous!!! The gardens were so nice and the rose garden WOW. The grapevine was unbelievable!!! When Harry finally took us to our hotel we crashed. No trouble sleeping that night!!

When Harry picked us up on Wednesday for the all day London tour we were back to normal and excited about seeing everything. The tour was so special. I had been to London before but Teddy had not. I had not seen so many of the things Harry shared with us. He got us to all the right places at the right times. He knew exactly where to take us for the changing of the guard and many other little extras.

I have given out several of Harry's cards and told everyone how special the tour was.

Thanks for all your special care and service with our wonderful visit to London!!

Hello, Harry.

My husband and I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful day we spent with you while on vacation in England earlier this year. We both agree it was one of the highlights of our trip and have told all of our friends and relatives here in Canada about how you made our tour so interesting. You were so friendly and considerate. You took into account my limited mobility and instead of having a set tour in mind, you gave us options that we would find interesting and not too tiring for me. You took us to a lovely picturesque spot by the River Thames where we sat and had coffee and muffins and then on to Hampton Court where we had a lovely salad lunch. On the spur of the moment you asked if we would like to visit Windsor Castle, which we did and then we stopped and walked around Eton where we had coffee in a lovely little café. All this was done at a leisurely pace. Your knowledge and commentary were very informative. By the end of the day, we truly did feel we were saying goodbye to a dear friend.

Please say hello to Pat for us and I am attaching a photo that Geoff took of you and me standing on a bridge over the river, with Windsor Castle in the background.

Sincerely, Sue & Geoff - Ontario, Canada

Hello Harry and Pat,

First off, let me apologize for the delay in this thank you. It is in no means representative of my gratitude.

We have all decided that the highlight of our trip to London was Harry's tour. It was so enjoyable! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I hope that you are happy with the feedback I left for you on E-bay.

Just want to give you a heads up......Amye King (the one from Tennessee) sent an e-mail singing your praises to the website for the two authors of the Girls' Guide to London. They responded to her to request if they could include her e-mail on their website. Once it gets posted, I'll be sure to forward you the site. This should be great publicity for you!

Also, my very dear friend, Debbie Juran, will be in London in July for a wedding. I told her that she MUST book a tour with you. She said that she will be e-mailing you shortly to arrange something.

I look forward to the day when I can return to London with my husband. When we do, you will be the first to know!

Very truly yours, Marcia Atkinson

Harry,

Just a note of sincere and complete thanks for the two wonderful tours we had with you last week. In this world you approach a “blind” date of sorts with a little concern but that was completely and quickly put to rest the moment we met you and started on our first tour. You looked after our needs so well and are such a gentlemen with a great wit and great knowledge and insight. We were as you know a little concerned about our elderly parents who were traveling with us but your vehicle accommodated our needs very well and we so much appreciated your sensitivity to their needs.

Since most of us had traveled to London previously we booked two of your tours outside the city. One to Blenheim Palace, Cotswold’s and Stratford and the other to Stonehenge and the Salisbury area, we absolutely loved both of them. We so much enjoyed your comments and special knowledge of each place and your allowing us a little extra time here and there when we asked. We just hope we were half as much fun to be with as you were for us.

We came home tired but fulfilled and so appreciative of you and the experiences you made possible for us. We hope we can return the favor to you and your good wife should you ever be in our part of the United States.

Thanks again for everything. Please give our best to Pat as well. -- Brett Wright and the rest of the Wright Clan.

Hi Harry,

We did not forget you....It has been a crazy few weeks since we met. Two time changes in one week is one thing, add the six/five hour time difference in and it makes for some real fun! LOL

What can I say that everyone else hasn't? The tour truly exceeded our expectations. I know that a few have said this but when we arrived at the Bed and Breakfast and you were there waiting and called out for us it was such a relief to know that we could just sit back relax and enjoy London. Thank you so much for being there on time and smiling. Thanks for the immediate coffee stop too :)

I wish that we had just had you pick us up from the airport instead of taking the cab would have made for a much smoother entrance into London. Highly recommend that option. Live and learn we will be back so I'll be able to take advantage of that the next time we meet.

The highlight for us really was the great customization of the tour, the WWII history, the pirate information, the cheese shop (thanks again for the cheese!). Abbey Road! The Museum and the beautiful paintings. The orientation around the city truly helped for when we had the car and when we were walking around. As you know we went to the Royal Albert Hall for a concert on Sunday night and we got to and fro like pros.

We highly recommend your services to anyone who will be traveling to the London area and would like a tour of the city. It was such a great day! I can only imagine how great your tours are outside of the city.

I do need to apologize, I do not have the picture of the London Bridge in Arizona as I thought I did. So I cannot send it to you. The little tidbit regarding what the gentleman thought he purchased versus what he did was very funny though and gives us a leg up in the trivia department on some of our fellow Americans.

Thanks again for a great day and a great tour! You really deserve all of the wonderful comments from your patrons.

Hope this finds you well and also hope to meet again in the not to distant future! -- With warm regards, Amy and Brian

Dear Harry (and Pat),

I just wanted to thank you for the great three days that Betsy, Joyce, Cindy and I enjoyed with you last week. It was a dream week and we all had a marvelous time. Betsy had your pictures when we got back to her house Tuesday evening and she forwarded them to us as well. I haven't done anything with my digital camera yet putting the pictures into the computer but when I do, I'll forward what I have. I have to say I learned quite a bit about my camera on this trip so I'm sure my pictures will be somewhat disappointing but at least still a memory.

We've had beautiful weather since we got home - sunny, mild, just beautiful but no plants in bloom yet like in England. I'm still having jet lag - was up at 3:30 a.m. both yesterday and today so hope tonight will see the end of that.

Anyway, thanks again for making the trip so delightful. You are a great tour guide, and driver. Thanks for sharing him with us Pat. I'm sure you'll read this before Harry. --- Carolyn Ulrich

Thank you so much for the wonderful photos; wee all enjoyed them yesterday as the kids raved about the trip to their parents.

Gabriel in fact kept a very detailed journal and he really was listening to you reported many of the details.

The rest of the time went very well we did the tower and loved Mary Poppins.

But without question we have you to thank for a very special visit. In fact I have already referred you to a friend of my daughters. Who is planning a visit with her kids this summer.

Hello Harry

I hope that your leg has healed and that you are back to being the great ambassador for London that you are.

When we got home things were tops turvy with our company so we have been running to try and catch up. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful tours. You worked so hard to assure that we saw all that we wanted to see. And the day with the 4 bears is one I am not likely to forget, ever. Thank you again for your fun loving attitude and the grandkids loved the idea.

Take care of Pat and yourself and if you ever want to visit the Southeast of the US let us know, you are welcome to visit with us. Can't wait to hear what you think of the other movies. In "the Prince of Tides" there is a line when someone says they love Tennessee Williams, the author, the response is oh, you love excess and eccentricity That's us.

Can't wait to plan another trip to London and take another Harry Norman tour. Take Care.

Warmest personal regards, Merry

After checking out some bus tours I accidently came across your tours. Yours was exactly what I had been looking for. All the historical information about London, AND an outstandingly warm welcome sprinkled with lots of dry English humor!!!! It was truly amazing. I saw everything that I had anticipated seeing and more, so much more!!

Harry, you have an outstanding loyalty to your London, and the manner in which you conduct your tours surpassed all of my expectations!! Your kindness, helpfullness, and massive amount of knowledge took my breath away. I must say I was truly awed by your grasp of London's history.

We're safely back home and wanted to let you know that Paris may be the City of Lights and romance but I for one left my heart in London. I so wished the entire time I was in Paris that I could have stayed in London. Everything we tried to do was difficult and with problems. I couldn't even get a wheelchair for our tour through the Louvre and had to end up canceling it. Our meals were horrible and so on. I won't bore you with the details; suffice it to say that Paris isn't London and WE MISSED YOU TERRIBLY!! We want to thank you for two glorious days and for making London such a magnificent part of our memories. It is something we'll never forget and G-d willing, we'd love to come back - perhaps have you take us to Canterbury, Oxford, and Bath and spend a few days with us in London, and then we'll go on to Scotland. We wish you and Pat good health and happiness in the New Year. Please keep in touch - we feel as though you are "family".

Fondly, Bernie and Temah
P.S. We're anxious to see how the pictures came out.

Hi Harry

Camera case arrived fine thank you very much. Here's a few words for your web page:

My wife and I had a most interesting day with Harry. Considering the recent happening with the bombings we felt really safe. Harry has an excellent knowledge of the London streets and navigated around lesser known parts of the capital with ease. His general knowledge of the city is also first class and all our questions were answered. I would certainly recommend Harry and his company to any and everyone.

Thank you Harry for a marvellous day! -- Mick and Elaine Lenton

Hi Harry,

Just sending a few pictures that we took on our tours. Even after 3 (or so) weeks, we are still re-living the memories. We had such a good time and would not hesitate to recommend your tours as we think that you are the best!

We will probably return to your beautiful country in a year or two and we will definitely contact you...not only to arrange more tours, but to just say "hello" to our friend in England. You knew exactly what we should see and you worked very hard to make sure that we saw it!

We have definitely been thinking of you today as we watched the Royal Wedding at Windsor Castle. We recognized so many things there.

Thank you so much for showing us the little things that make London so great! We cannot wait to return to this wonderful city!

Please say hello to Pat for us. --- Regards, Judy and John Gosik

Hello Harry,

We arrived home Sunday night after a fantastic week in London with our two grandsons. Having you show us London and give us so much information our first day was a perfect way to begin our week. You were very kind to include so many things to keep the boys interested. They mentioned you and things you had told and shown us throughout the week. They learned a great deal from you, and we learned a lot things that we didn't know! All four of us enjoyed the day very much. Thank you for a wonderful tour. ---- Bettie and Ed

Hello

We have traveled to England yearly for the past 3 years and have thoroughly enjoyed each trip. We located Harry prior to our first trip and have had a great time with him and his hospitality since the first.

If this is your first trip to London I recommend you allow Harry to take you on his general overview of the city, some driving and some walking. On each of our trips we have started by traveled with Harry outside of London for several days and he has arranged a local B&B; for our stay. Last year it was 4 days on the Cotswolds and this year is was 5 days in Devon & Cornwall. Each of these stays was followed then by 4-5 days in London where we usually navigated ourselves with maps and the tube system.

If you are staying in London the whole time, I highly recommend at least one or two day trips with Harry outside of London besides his city tours. He has several listed on his web site and they are all great. I especially liked the day trips to Avesbury/Stonehenge and down to Dover/Canterbury. We have stayed away from the bus tours because the price of hiring Harry for a day was comparable and we got to see and do a great deal more than a packaged bus day. Plus not having to deal with 40-50 other people was a huge plus.

The best thing about working with Harry is that he is very flexible. If you have certain things you would like to see or do (or not do) he is very willing to fashion a day around your preferences, or at least come very close to meeting expectations.

Our only regret is never quite having enough time, London and the UK is packed with an incredible amount of history, beautiful sights, and gracious people. We always look forward to going back and spending time with Harry.

Best wishes, Mike McBride

As exhausted as we were by the overnight flight, you kept us awake and happy for a full day on the town. Hello Harry,

A thousand pardons for being so tardy with word of our safe arrival back in Texas, and response to the fabulous time we had with you on this year's trip. It was truly one of the best times that Pat, Carol and I have ever had in our years of travel. Although this year's trip was different from past years, with a lot more moving around, we covered so much territory and experienced so many new people, sights and pleasures, the surprises never ceased. Then we got to relive all of it at home with our photos and souvenirs with great new memories.

I attached a few sample photos for your perusal, and will follow up with a set of CD's to your home address this week. Hope all is well with you and family, we are bracing for Thanksgiving Day this week and the Holiday Season getting into full swing.

All the Best, Pat, Carol & Mike

To drive through London traffic and be pleasant at the same time can't be easy. Your historic perspective in explaining the significance of each sight made it much more personal and easier than having to thumb through a guide. Also, thanks for involving my sons in learning about England. I know they were a bit restless, but you planted a lot of seeds for their educational growth. I will certainly recommend your services to anyone I know who is going over there. I don't know when we'll be back but I'm sure we'll want to go for another tour.

I also appreciate you putting up with my family's eccentricities--I know that we all can be a little strange, but that is what makes us so loveable. And thank you again for the special attention you gave to my mom. You went so far out of your way to make her comfortable and the whole family greatly appreciates what you did.

If you are ever in Louisiana please let us know, my family loves to play tour guide, we couldn't hold a candle to the services you provide, but we are all pretty good with our knowledge of local history!

Thank you again for everything, I hope that our recommendations will bring much business in the future!

Harry,

There are not words to describe how incredible our trip was to London. My mom was a little hesitant about making the journey. And, I have to admit, I was too. It was so important to me for Mom to have the time of her life. Thanks to you, she did.

I was a bit nervous in the beginning, but having you pick us up at the airport was one of the best things I did. You immediately put us at ease. It was like seeing an old friend after several years, instead of meeting someone for the first time.

Harry, I can't tell you how wonderful my mom and I think you are. You are so knowledgeable, kind, easy-going, helpful,....and the list goes on and on. But what makes it even better is that you have a great wife too. She is so understanding and supportive to allow you to do what you love.

Thank you for an incredible and extremely memorable trip. We can't wait to come back. So, get ready to deal with these two Texas women again. We are thinking about the Fall. What month do you suggest? You really intrigued us with the over night trips to the country. I would like to see the beaches as well.

We miss you and can't wait to see you again. Please tell Pat hello. Next time, if we can, we would love to meet Pat. We have heard so much about her, we feel like we know her already.

Please accept the Salsbury clock as a token of my appreciation. Maybe everytime you look at it, you will think of us and know that you have friends in Texas.

Hugs accross the miles!! --- Amy

Good morning Harry! We are home safe and sound but already miss the UK. I had to e-mail you to let you know that our day with you was the highlight of the trip. As you know, we had already booked a tour for Christmas day with Golden tours, before discovering you. Well, have you ever heard the term " TOUR FROM HELL" ? If you haven't, you have now. We were 45 minutes to an hour late leaving the station which put us in Cantabury after the service had started....we had to sit in the section of the cathedral (a seperate room)with no view of the Arch Bishop. There was no time to see any of Cantabury at all! When leaving Cantabury, we left 7 people so while we ate, the bus driver had to return to get the missing tourists. At the pub for Christmas dinner, we were packed in like sardines and our family could not even sit together for dinner. We were divided up into three different tables! Now, since we had left the 7, we had to wait at the pub until they arrived and then ate, so out trip to Dover was delayed till after dark! When the tour guide announced we were leaving for Dover, the same 7 proceeded to the bathrooms and almost got left again. Did you know that the white cliffs are not very visible after dark?! Might I add that we chose that tour because we had never seen the white cliffs.....we still haven't!

As for your tour. We talked about it all week and are still talking about it. I will be spreading good words of "Harrytours" ! Harry, you made the day so enjoyable and fun. Thank you again for being available. I hope we will be seeing you in the future. P.S. The Pasties we had for lunch were delicious! When we were eating Christmas lunch, we were all wishing we were eating a pasty with you!!!!

Harry, I hope you had a very happy Christmas and have a wonderful and prosperous New Year!

Harry we just returned last nite from our extensive tour of the Scandinavian capitals. We had a wonderful time with you and enjoyed our five days with you. I learned so much and thanks for all those extras including the daily mints which I continued to buy on the cruise!

If there is any way I can help by writing a public letter recommending your services please tell me how. Peg and I would have been lost with out you.

NOW FOR THE MESSAGE FROM MY BETTER HALF!

Hi Harry-

I'm not sure what time it is by the clock. However, I do know it is time to be very thankful for a trip beyond our expectations and you were such an integral part of this. From the "cotton in the ear" emergency to dinner with Pat and Ian we truly thank you for your great guidance.

'til we meet again =:)

I made it back all right. Thank you very much for the additional surprise of the CD; it was most kind of you to think of me that way!! I have as yet to play it, and to unpack; when I got home I basically crashed.

It was really good to meet Pat and Keith, who seems a most personable nice young man. Given how you were with me, it's not hard to know why he is this way/smile. Your enthusiasm and kindness to me added a great deal to my trip.

Thanks a lot; looking forward to next time!!

Most Sincerely,

Kathy.

Our tour with you was truly the highlight of our first trip to Europe, and it created a lifetime memory that nothing can diminish or top. You are an incredible historian of London and England, but more than that, you are a true gentleman, a "class act", and a friendship was borne that day that we will cherish for all our days to come.

As travel agents, we deal with many tour operators, but you are so special that we will not only send every client going to London to you, but we will actively "strong arm" people to spend the day with you. We know your incredible view of customer service will make them lifetime clients for both of us.

Dear Harry,

We wanted to write and thank you for making our dream trip to London perfect. The whole week was much more than we could have ever asked for, and that is all thanks to you. You pampered us the whole time ,we saw more of London than we ever hoped to see. We hit all the high spots and some that we would have never found without you, from the Hard Rock Cafe to the Church of the Holy Serpentine how could we forget.

The lovely country roads and small towns with their lovely spring flowers all in bloom were beautiful and will be much remembered by all, especially Mom. We truly can't say enough wonderful things about you Harry, and will be talking about you and our trip for a very long time. We would also like to thank your wife for her kindness with packing water, tea, and cookies. They were very much enjoyed and we are all telling all our friends if they go to London they must have you give them the tour if they really want to see and experience all there is to see and do. All of us really feel as if we have truly found a friend in you. I haven't forgotten the "free range eggs" either, we really had some great laughs . Hope to see you again soon, best of luck in every thing.

TO: ALL

If you have any plans to spend time in the British Isles, read on....

I spent the first two weeks of August, this summer, in London, and having found Harry Norman through the UKFORUM on CompuServe, I emailed him and asked him about taking me and my nineteen-year-old twin daughters around the area. The results could not have been any better, and I would most highly recommend that, if you want to really "feel" England, you have to have Harry as your guide.

I had inquired about the possibility of spending a day on the canals, and Harry obliged rather spectacularly. He met us at our hotel and drove us out to a village near Stratford, where we boarded a truly wonderful narrowboat owned by a friend of his, and we had a most memorable day cruising down the canal through lovely, idyllic scenery and learning how to handle the many locks, which was fascinating. The pace was easy and relaxed, and as we went along, we enjoyed chatting with the people walking along the banks of the canal. After a hearty pub lunch, we headed back the way we'd come, and we all agreed that we'd had an absolutely wonderful day.

Harry took me, later in our stay, to see Richmond Park and Hampton Court, and I was very glad I hadn't tried to do those on my own. He is so knowledgeable and so efficient, as a driver and a guide, that I saw and learned much more than I would have without him.

I hope to return to the UK in the not too distant future, and, when my plans solidify, the first person I shall contact will be Harry, because he is a terrific, insightful guide (I mentioned my interest in things equine, and the next thing I knew, we were at Epsom Downs!), his prices are very fair, and he's a great guy.

Hello Harry!

Sorry it took so long to respond. We have both been working extra hours to make up for the time we were gone. This is the first time I've logged into the net since I returned. Thank you for a lovely time in London. You really made the trip special. We would not have visited as many wonderful places if we had been on our own. George is already talking about a return trip. It's wonderful having a friend across the "pond".

George sends his regards. The airline packed his antique walking sticks in a box and they arrived without a scratch. He shows them to everyone and tells them how you discovered the tiny shop in Arundel together.

We got the photo's developed, and they turned out great! It's hard to believe that we have been home a week and a half. Everytime we see a TV program with sights from London, we talk about our trip with you. Take care and keep in touch. If your are ever in America, look us up and we'll be the tour guide.

Best regards to you, your lovely wife Pat, and your boys. Our "boys". (Prince and Hero) send their best also. Many thanks for the dog treats. They really enjoyed them.

George and Vicki

Dear Harry,

We arrived home on Saturday night, and spent Sunday sleeping, unpacking, sleeping, eating and sleeping. Today, I feel back to normal again.

I would like to thank you again for our day with you. I would have loved to make it more days, we just didn't have enough days (this trip). We saw more of London in the day we spent with you than we saw in the next 5 days. And let me tell you that for someone like Tom who is vision impaired, having a personal guide really made the trip for him. He felt that he "saw" as much of London as we did. It was a truly first class experience for both of us.

As I told you before we left London, we will be back as soon as we can possibly arrange it, and this time we would like to spend 3 of 4 days with you in and around London - Maybe Cambridge, Warwick? We'll talk lots before then.

We sat at breakfast this morning discussing what we wanted to see again, and what new things we wanted to get to. With talks like that, I don't think it will be too long before we find the money to come back.

Again, thank you for our day in London and we look forward to many more.

Sincerely,

Peggy and Tom Squire

To Whom It May Concern:

Last year I arranged by email, for a tour of London with Harry Norman of LONDON TOURS, for myself and my family. Having never been to London, I was unable to be specific as to what exactly we wanted to see, but I do remember telling Harry that we wanted an overview of the city, and left it to him, to decide what might be best.

Harry somehow managed to make sure that we saw the major architectural sights, Hyde Park, gardens, a museum, the palace, and he suggested a charming Italian restaurant for lunch. We were amazed at how much we were able to squeeze into the afternoon and how effortless he made driving in London appear to be!

Not only did we feel that we had the flexibility to add or change the tour, which we wouldn't be able to do with a group on a bus, but Harry was terrific about stopping for us to take photographs on several occasions. His knowledge of the city is impressive and we enjoyed his humor and insight.

Since my trip to London, I have recommended LONDON TOURS to several of my clients and everyone has been pleased with the service, the tour, and the ability to remain flexible. I would highly recommend London Tours to anyone planning a trip to London or the surrounding countryside.

Dear Harry,

We arrived safely into Moscow but not without some reservation. We had a delightful time in your company and will highly recommend your services to any one who might be considering your country.

You are a wonderful tour guide, showing up at all the right times in all of the right places (ie. picture taking time) and it only adds to our enjoyment with you. I will tell Mark to recommend all of his clients that may be going through your neck of the woods to take advantage of your tours.

You were right in your letters, where we meet as strangers and leave as friends. Harry, with all honesty you did great and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. I am glad we turned down the Queen and stayed with London Tours.

Very Truly,

Dear Harry,

Just wanted to write and thank you for a great day at Avebury, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Winchester. The late tea was great as was the pub. Debby and I agreed it was the best day we had. The information and insight you provided made the day much more meaningful than if we had hopped the bus with the other tourists.England was fascinating. I hope business goes well for you. I'm sure with your personal touch your greatest problem will having enough time. If it's suitable to you, I thought I would pass your name and number along to my travel agent.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas.

Dear Harry,

We arrived back home safely, and have adjusted to the time zones again. Rachel is now off to college. We enjoyed our trip very much, though we were quite tired when we got back. England is a wonderful place, if you would only drive on the correct side of the street.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week of tours with you. By the way, it wouldn't hurt to suggest to future visitors to leave their American hair dryers, curlers etc at home, and buy British ones on arrival. I think that the favorite spots for us were Windsor, and Hampton Court, with the British museum and the Cabinet War Rooms a close second. We really do appreciate all your efforts while we were there, particularly as we seemed prone to get separated and lost. I can't imagine what it would have been like if I had been trying to drive!

Thanks again for all your efforts. Our best to you and your family.

Regards,

Keith, Jane and all the family.

Harry,

On January 15th, Michelle and I had what can only be described as a travel day filled with adversity.

The weather, the Gods and the airlines conspired to ruin our trip even before it began. One of the happiest and reassuring moments of our trip was the greeting you gave us as we exited customs at Heathrow Airport after our tumultuous airline trip.

Your warm greeting, cheerful attitude and quick wit instantly put us into the "English Spirit". Although I've traveled to the United Kingdom many times, this was my wife's first trip abroad. Your in depth knowledge of the people, sites and history was very apparent as we exited the parking structure. With my interest in history and my wife's interest in anything English, you skillfully entertained us both with a balance of sites and stories.

Even though we only had a little less than eight hours to enjoy London and the outlying area's, you filled the day with enough sites to wet both our appetites for a return visit.

I would nominate you for for king if a commoner could fill that position.

Best regards,

Edward & Michelle Moalem
