Managed habitat - the key to our success
Our hunting areas consist of over 3,000 acres of prime natural pheasant habitat, including shelterbelts, weed patches, sorghum, grass pastures and croplands. We at Dakota Dream Hunts pride ourselves in the care we have taken over the years to insure prime natural pheasant habitat.

No Hidden Expenses!
There are no hidden expenses when you sign up for your Dakota Dream Hunt. One phone call can reserve you and your friends a chance to share in an unforgettable autumn bonanza. Our rates include lodging for every day of your hunt, transportation to and from the game fields, noon home-cooked meals, guides, dogs and game processing. Blinds and decoys are added in the combination hunts. We are located 90 minutes from Sioux Falls Airport, where rental vehicles are always available. Other nearby airports include Watertown, Brookings, and Huron which also have rental outlets.

Group Sizes and Safety

Group sizes can make or break a hunt. We offer small party hunting to make sure you don't get lost in the crowd, and to assure a quality hunt. Being avid sportsmen ourselves, we have learned the finest hunts are made in parties of 4-6 hunters per guide. However, larger groups of hunting friends can be easily accommodated.

Safety is also uppermost in our minds, and we strictly adhere to a set of basic safety rules! Safety is always part of an enjoyable, quality hunt.

During the Hunt
During the hunt, you'll stay in local motels, where you'll find courtesy, clean and modern accommodations, cable TV and air conditioning. You'll dine at the local restaurants and cafes where you'll find friendly service, soup and salad bar and everything on the menu from sandwiches to lobster!
